[17:43:47]<boztek>so i'm trying to do some aegir-ey things in a script that is run by a jenkins job - jenkins runs as the jenkins user - so my problem is how can let the jenkins user have access to all of aegir's site aliases etc. in /var/aegir/.drush ?

[17:51:57]<mig5>and be careful in your jenkins builds so that it doesn't try and do anything untoward

[17:52:47]<mig5>i have my jenkins run commands as arbitrary users, even root, on remote 'nodes'

[17:54:15]<mig5>you could have your jenkins on another machine and just script it as ssh calls as aegir user (private/public key even)

[17:55:11]<mig5>and with the python plugin in jenkins, could write a fabric script directly in your build. i am rambling
