[05:08:42]<jonpugh>Is the scrum now? helmo ergonlogic ?
[05:10:46]<helmo>jonpugh: could be ...
[05:11:36]<helmo>DST changed for me last weekend ... fou you next weekend?
[05:12:10]<jonpugh>Yep
[05:12:50]<jonpugh>All I have is that install method patch I'd love to get in next release
[05:14:57]<helmo>I saw it but didn't have the time yet to test it... but I will
[05:17:17]<helmo>jonpugh: please add it to https://www.drupal.org/node/2822806

[05:18:26]<helmo>jonpugh: I why not push the 2754069-decouple-install branch directly to github to let it be tested?
[05:20:21]<helmo>I reviewd https://www.drupal.org/node/2822806 ... it can provide additional safeguards for multi user systems ... but needs more review/work to not interfere with existing workflows

[05:20:31]<jonpugh> I was pushing but not too github. I want easy review for people and a patch file so I can include it in devshop
[05:20:39]<helmo>... should have been this link https://www.drupal.org/node/922252
[05:20:40]<hefring>https://www.drupal.org/node/922252 => Prevent clients from hijacking each others subdomains [#922252] => 15 comments, 1 IRC mention
[05:20:40]<jonpugh>I'll try to get it on a pull request today
[05:26:10]<helmo>The other thing I can report is that I've sucessfully upgraded a number of Aegir istallations to 3.8 with the only failure being taht Drupal.org was down during one of them ... so drush make failed.

[06:17:26]<jonpugh>?
[06:35:14]<helmo>commented ... I can see where that would simplify things for devshop... and it could pave the way for site repo's that describe their desired platform in a makefile/composerfile or whatelse...

[06:37:35]<memtkmcc>do we know what is the regression affecting nginx bgm mentioned before?
[06:37:49]<memtkmcc>I would like to fix that properly
[06:39:48]<helmo>not sure which config option it is ... but one that's present from 1.9 and used amongst the recent changes
[06:41:06]<memtkmcc>yeah, bug report is welcome

[08:18:36]<hefring>bgm: 6 days 25 min ago <memtkmcc> tell bgm: Please open an issue re: "Aegir 3.8 includes nginx syntax that doesn't work on nginx 1.6". We should not force people to use backports, especially for current stable Debian version.
[08:18:36]<hefring>bgm: 6 days 22 min ago <memtkmcc> tell bgm: we have nginx version check in place to provide smooth upgrade path if possible, and we should use it to make the syntax changes conditional
[08:18:49]<bgm>too many arguments, something like that
[08:19:23]<bgm>hefring: tell memtkmcc too many arguments to: 'add_header X-XSS-Protection "1; mode=block" always;'
[08:19:23]<hefring>bgm: I'll pass that on when memtkmcc is around.
[08:24:05]<memtkmcc>bgm: thanks, will look into this
[08:24:05]<hefring>memtkmcc: 4 min 42 sec ago <bgm> tell memtkmcc too many arguments to: 'add_header X-XSS-Protection "1; mode=block" always;'
[08:25:54]<bgm>memtkmcc: sorry for not following up initially. I figured if anyone else mentions it, then maybe investigate, but I feel like I was probably one of the few still running that old version of nginx, and I'm usually not a huge fan of legacy. :)

[08:30:59]<memtkmcc>bgm: but it is not legacy version if it comes with current Debian stable, so we need to fix this, like all good citizens in the packages based world :)
[08:32:19]<memtkmcc>also, the issue here is not related to any critical feature / requirement, etc
