[00:40:09]<colan>Tried to click on the latest project blog post from Planet, and got this: "www.aegirproject.org uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for the following names: *.gitlab.io, gitlab.io Error code: SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN"
[00:41:03]<colan>Can we add more alternative names to the certificate?
[00:41:23]<helmo42[m]>My browsers sees it as valid ... strange
[00:41:40]<colan>This is Firefox mobile BTW.
[00:42:10]<colan>Will try others when I get to my desk.

[02:19:22]<ergonlogic[m]>I generated a Let's Encrypt cert manually, an uploaded it to gitlab, so they shouldn't be providing anything under their cert...
[02:19:44]<ergonlogic[m]>colan: please file a bug, so we can follow-up
[02:20:54]<helmo42[m]>They were having trouve with a new deploy today https://mobile.twitter.com/GitLabStatus mentions that they rolled back an update
[02:23:21]<ergonlogic[m]>grr, site is supposed to redirect to https too

[06:00:46]<helmo42[m]>Hi all, ergonlogic bgm jonpugh colan cweagans gboudrias memtkmcc .. and any one else ... Scrum time?
[06:07:13]<jonpugh1>Hi, happy holidays
[06:07:41]<helmo42[m]>My Aegir Rules blog went out today https://www.aegirproject.org/blog/aegir_rules/ :)
[06:08:59]<jonpugh1>I worked on the hosting git issue regarding git hooks. I was able to solve the problem of using a drupal 8 "drupal-composer" project. It now runs 'composer install' before it tries to verify the codebase
[06:12:30]<helmo42[m]>nice
[06:12:53]<ergonlogic[m]>I've got a client deadline looming. So I'm going to catch up on the discussion later. I'll have some news re. AegirNG/5 after the holidays.
[06:16:47]<helmo42[m]>I have another post in preparation, an end of year report Inspired by Anarcat's monthly reports.
[06:17:40]<helmo42[m]>It's nice to recollect all the things I've worked on this year.
[06:17:46]<anarcat>woot
[06:18:01]<anarcat>i found out about this recently: http://davidseah.com/node/compact-calendar/
[06:21:31]<colan>@freenode_jonpugh : that behavior is also in hosting_composer so feel free to compare. Just got it working.
[06:22:00]<colan>As in, i got it working for me. I didn't write it.
[06:23:13]<colan>Will create a bug report for the certificate thing. What repo are we using for the site now?

[06:26:37]<helmo42[m]>https://gitlab.com/aegir/www.aegirproject.org/
[06:26:59]<colan>In other news, i created a full project for https://www.drupal.org/project/aegir_site_subscriptions
[06:28:07]<colan>I still have a lot of work to do to separate the Recurly code so that other providers can be plugged in.
[06:28:20]<colan>helmo42: thanks!
[06:29:56]<helmo42[m]>johnpugh: maybe hosting_composer can implement hook_hosting_git_hooks() ?
[06:30:42]<colan>That's an idea!
[06:32:40]<colan>Let's keep all of the Composer stuff together.
[06:33:28]<colan>@freenode_jonpugh ^^^

[06:41:05]* gusaus[m] sent a long message: gusaus[m]_2017-12-21_19:41:05.txt <https://matrix.org/_matrix/media/v1/download/matrix.org/AXZbBijHQOEmXrwd...
[07:34:21]<helmo42[m]>gusaus: That's a nice gesture.
[09:50:07]<gusaus[m]>They're also in the process of launching a 501c3 foundation https://opencollective.com/foundation-collective
[09:50:08]<gusaus[m]>Hopefully that will mean at least two potential Aegir partners able to run fundraising through a nonprofit.
[09:50:09]<gusaus[m]>If Drupal Association becomes a host (they're currently evaluating) there will be many more Drupal projects onboard.
