[01:51:00]<jonpugh>helmo42[m]: Did you see my latest patch? Not complicated... useful for preventing editable fields if a verify task is present

[01:54:12]<colan>Anyone know how to fix `PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function cache_get() in /var/aegir/hostmaster-7.x-3.130/includes/module.inc:754`
[01:54:28]<colan>hostmaster is down and drush doesn't work.
[01:54:38]<colan>semaphore table is empty.
[01:54:42]<colan>queue is dead and won't restart
[01:55:33]<jonpugh>That's pretty bizarre
[01:55:49]<jonpugh>I'm seeing that function in includes/cache.inc
[01:56:00]<helmo42[m]>colan: memcache?
[01:56:38]<colan>nope. clearing the semaphore table worked elsehwere, but that's not the problem here.
[01:56:58]<jonpugh>not sure why that would affect a missing drupal core function?
[01:57:09]<helmo42[m]>jonpugh: That patch looks fine, weird that no one reported that before
[01:57:17]<jonpugh>yeah :)
[01:58:39]<jonpugh>if you reload the page fast enough, you can see the queued delete task and all other tasks vanish, then once the delete task starts running again the other tasks reappear
[01:58:44]<jonpugh>good times
[02:18:12]<colan>My problem was https://www.drupal.org/project/hostmaster/issues/2945366, btw.

[03:12:07]<jonpugh>hey helmo42[m] ... I'm looking at the docker containers as I try to make hosting_git testable on commit...
[03:12:31]<jonpugh>Looks like aegir/hostmaster:latest is actually pointed at 3.11 !
[03:13:35]<jonpugh>I wonder how we can make a fixed latest dockerfile that builds the last release
[03:13:45]<jonpugh>Maybe with a makefile with hostmaster version: "3"
[03:13:45]<jonpugh>?
[03:19:09]<jonpugh>Looks like that would work... i just added an aegir-latest.make file to provision
[03:19:25]<jonpugh>projects[hostmaster][type] = "profile"
[03:19:25]<jonpugh>projects[hostmaster][version] = "3"

[04:13:13]<jonpugh>helmo42[m]: aegir/hostmaster container now works with the actual latest Dockerfile and hostmaster version, so all the other project's tests should be workable now with that image.

[04:30:41]<roycroft>hello, folks
[04:31:00]<roycroft>i am working with the commerce_kickstart platform on an aegir master
[04:31:37]<roycroft>my boss had installed a bunch of contributed and local modules in ~platform/profiles instead of ~platform/sites/all
[04:31:47]<roycroft>and we can't upgrade the platform because of that
[04:31:57]<roycroft>i tried moving the modules to the correct location
[04:32:00]<roycroft>the platform verifies fine
[04:32:10]<roycroft>but i cannot clone sites to the new platform
[04:32:29]<roycroft>there are pointers to the old location still and it failes because it cannot find those files
[04:32:40]<roycroft>i've done a drush cache-clear
[04:32:54]<roycroft>i've been told that i have to do a drush rr though to update the pointers
[04:33:07]<roycroft>however, that command fails (drush version 8 on this machine)
[04:33:11]<roycroft>drush registry-rebuild also fails
[04:33:22]<roycroft>i thought those were built-in drush commands
[04:33:32]<roycroft>any idea what would cause them to fail?
[04:34:04]<roycroft>i can't even run drush rr in a working site - so it's not the new platform that's the issue
[05:23:23]* calbasi has quit (Quit: Leaving)
[05:29:23]* AirQuotes has left #aegir ()
[05:32:06]<roycroft>i found a registry_rebuild package that i installed in ~aegir/.drush, and drush rr works now
[05:32:34]<roycroft>but we've never had to do that before, and everything i've read about drush says that registry_rebuild is part of the drush core
[05:32:42]<roycroft>so i don't get why i had to go find that package
[05:32:50]<roycroft>or why it even exists
