[21:50:25]<hefring>https://www.drupal.org/project/hosting_tasks_extra/issues/2982704 => Bug loading info for http auth [#2982704] => 3 comments, 1 IRC mention
[21:50:50]<jonpugh>Just FYI, I'll take care of the commit and release later today
[23:30:48]<helmo42[m]>jonpugh: I dont see why this is suddenly an issue? What is the effect auth not being included in the vhost?
[23:34:37]<helmo42[m]>I just applied it on a test server and see no diff in the generated config
[23:52:41]<jonpugh>helmo42[m]: it's not taking affect at all. If you save a password then go back to edit the node it's gone
[23:53:05]<jonpugh>TBH I haven't had a chance to test with stock aegir, I don't exactly see how but perhaps it's a conflict with devshop?
[23:55:47]<helmo42[m]>maybe, I edited a node to add a password ... and that seem to work ok without the patch.
[23:56:41]<helmo42[m]>but if it helps devshop then I don't object to a minor release

[01:56:25]<FatGuyLaughing>I am trying to create a platform from the repository 'https://github.com/drupal-composer/drupal-project' which uses composer. The platform fails to verify and returns the following error "The command could not be executed successfully (returned: [preflight] The alias @platform_composer_fourth could not be found. , code: 0)"
[01:56:50]<FatGuyLaughing>I have not had any success in my search results for this error.
[01:57:19]* theMusician has joined #aegir
[02:01:07]<FatGuyLaughing>The command aegir is running that produces the error is "/usr/local/bin/drush --backend=2 --yes @platform_composer_fourth provision-save 2>&1"
[02:02:32]<FatGuyLaughing>If I go through terminal and look at the backend of the system I can see that all of the files are there and that Drupal was downloaded and put in the web directory as desired.
[02:04:20]<viashimo>FatGuyLaughing: O
[02:04:45]<viashimo>,FatGuyLaughing I'm not familier with drupal-composer in aegir, but does drush @platform_composer_fourth provision-verify --verbose --debug give anything more?

[02:10:22]<colan>FatGuyLaughing: are you using https://www.drupal.org/project/hosting_deploy or simply aegir core?
[02:12:41]<FatGuyLaughing>I will run that command soon, just jumped into a meeting. Sorry
[02:13:07]<FatGuyLaughing>colan: Yes I am using aegir core. Which has gotten me further than hosting_deploy was getting me.
[02:13:28]<FatGuyLaughing>colan: hosting_deploy wouldn't even create the directory
[02:22:36]<colan>FatGuyLaughing: ah, if there are problems with that module, please open a ticket.

[03:17:30]<FatGuyLaughing>viashimo: Do I need to run that command in a certain directory?
[03:18:58]<FatGuyLaughing>colan: I will create issues for the module.
[03:21:04]<viashimo>FatGuyLaughing: normally just with the aegir user, if the drush alias @platform_composer_fourth exists properly it should load it
[03:23:48]<FatGuyLaughing>viashimo: It blows up. Should I copy and put in pastebin?
[03:26:06]<FatGuyLaughing>viashimo: I've added the output here, https://pastebin.com/vSxNq8HW
[03:27:56]<FatGuyLaughing>colan: I've created one issue. I will have to install the module again later to get an accurate description for the second issue. As soon as I can do that, I will create the second issue.
[03:28:26]<colan>FatGuyLaughing: Sounds great. Thanks!
[03:38:48]<FatGuyLaughing>Got to get docker set up so that I can do this a little more rapidly :)

[05:31:48]<FatGuyLaughing>viashimo: It gives me the same issue.
[05:31:55]<FatGuyLaughing>It's a weird one :)
[05:35:14]<viashimo>yup
[05:38:45]<viashimo>FatGuyLaughing: not sure if I really have any other ideas that might be helpful :/
[05:39:05]<FatGuyLaughing>No worries
[05:39:25]<viashimo>you're using php 7?
[05:40:08]<FatGuyLaughing>viashimo: I am trying my docker instance of Aegir.... and for some reason --no-dev is being passed as an option when trying to install the drupal-composer/drupal-project which makes it fail because the package has require-dev in it.
[05:40:37]<FatGuyLaughing>viashimo: Yes I'm using php7
[05:41:25]<FatGuyLaughing>viashimo: I don't know why aegir would pass that option --no-dev. I didn't tell it to and it doesn't on my other setup.
[05:44:25]<viashimo>FatGuyLaughing: the default composer command includes --no-dev
[05:44:47]<viashimo>it looks like there might be a way to override the install command using a drush variable provision_composer_install_command
[05:45:00]<viashimo>I'm not too sure of the internals of drush or if that is exposed to users in any way
[05:49:36]<FatGuyLaughing>viashimo: Hrm... so our live system doesn't have this issue with the --no-dev. Not sure why... Thanks for the help!
[05:50:04]<viashimo>FatGuyLaughing: you could try setting the variable in /var/aegir/.drush/local.drushrc.php
[05:50:32]<viashimo>maybe $options['provision_composer_install_command'] = '...';
[05:52:28]<viashimo>oh yeah, that totally works
[05:52:32]* theMusician has joined #aegir
[05:53:22]<FatGuyLaughing>viashimo: Don't know what to set it to. Do you know where the default is so I can look at that one and copy it
[05:55:13]<viashimo>FatGuyLaughing: the default is composer install --no-interaction --no-progress --no-dev ; in /usr/share/drush/commands/provision/platform/verify.provision.inc
[05:56:52]<FatGuyLaughing>viashimo: Thank you. I'm testing hosting_deploy on my local. I'll test that option next.
[06:05:58]* shaneonabike1 has left #aegir ("PART #drupal-commerce :QUIT :Leaving.")
[06:10:33]<FatGuyLaughing>viashimo: local.drushrc.php does not exist by default. Is there something that is looking for this file automatically or do I need to edit another file to include the local.drushrc.php
[06:11:00]<viashimo>FatGuyLaughing: /var/aegir/.drush/drushrc.php should check for the file and include it if it exists
[06:11:14]<FatGuyLaughing>sweet thank you
[06:13:02]<viashimo>np!
[06:17:58]<FatGuyLaughing>viashimo: Here's something strange... our live system has the --no-dev on it but it doesn't die on composer... it dies on the handoff of drush.
[06:18:11]<FatGuyLaughing>Apparently https://www.drupal.org/project/provision/issues/2953349 this turned out to be our issue on our live site.
[06:18:13]<hefring>https://www.drupal.org/project/provision/issues/2953349 => Including drush 9 in a composer-based platform breaks Provision verify. [#2953349] => 28 comments, 2 IRC mentions
[06:18:22]<FatGuyLaughing>Something about drush 9 causing some issues.
[06:18:35]<FatGuyLaughing>So we are using drush 8 now and platform just went green.
[06:18:38]<FatGuyLaughing>Thank goodness.
[06:18:45]<viashimo>nice!
