[04:46:02]<kbrown>Hello
[04:46:02]<hefring>what's up
[04:46:30]<kbrown>I've got an issue with Aegir and PHP 7.2. It doesn't appear to want to create any platforms.
[04:50:47]<kbrown>Can anyone see my messages?
[04:54:01]<kbrown>Hello. Is there anyone around who can help with an issue I'm having with Aegir?
[04:56:28]<kbrown>I'm about to do a fresh install of Aegir 3.160 and PHP 7.2 on an Ubuntu 18.04 VM in Virtualbox. What I tend to find is that I'm unable to create a platform. I've documented the issue in this bug report: https://freenode.net/kb/answer/registration
[04:56:47]<bgm>hi kbrown
[04:57:09]<bgm>can you double-check your bug report URL?
[04:57:45]<kbrown>https://www.drupal.org/comment/reply/3006307#comment-form
[04:59:39]<bgm>kbrown: can you try, as the aegir user (sudo -i -u aegir), to run: "drush @hm hosting-task [id-of-the-task]", where the ID is the node-id in the frontend, when you hover over the "view task log", you should see it
[04:59:43]<bgm>this might show more info
[05:00:02]<bgm>erm, correction: "drush @hm hosting-task [id-of-the-task] --debug"
[05:01:13]<bgm>otherwise, based on that report, I don't know. I run Aegir on PHP 7.2, but haven't created platforms in the latest release (created one ~ last month)
[05:01:43]<kbrown>How do I find the task number? Same as nid?
[05:02:01]<bgm>yes
[05:04:43]<kbrown>I will get you that in a few minutes. I'm in the process of a fresh Ubuntu install and then an Aegir install.
[05:40:30]<kbrown>Well, creating a platform worked nicely on the fresh Ubuntu install. Now to see what's going on with a CentOS 7 installation.
[05:44:01]<bgm>CentOS isn't as well supported, or at least, the folks providing community support are mostly on debian/ubuntu. I'm heading out. you'll probably get more responses during working hours. good luck
