[19:03:13]<Shwele>I did upgrade for new drupal and some of my aegir instances have issues with views saying it doesn't exist for that instance but for others its fine
[19:03:45]<Shwele>caught websites say Error
[19:03:45]<Shwele>The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later.

[19:04:44]<Shwele>here are warnings I get when I clear drush cache
[19:05:30]<helmo42[m]>Shwele: which views? the dblog should have a more intertesting message
[19:05:59]<Shwele>you can see more in pastebin
[19:06:06]<helmo42[m]>Did you install extra modules on the previous hostmaster platforms by any chance?
[19:06:18]<Shwele>I didn't, hostmaster is vanila
[19:06:30]<Shwele>aside some aegir related modules
[19:06:50]<Shwele>now Im doing the aegir upgrade to see if verify can sort it out
[19:07:15]<helmo42[m]>https://www.drupal.org/project/registry_rebuild could also help
[19:28:59]<Shwele>ok got to the bottom of this
[19:29:10]<Shwele>some of my colleagues downloaded modules and put them into modules folder in drupal
[19:30:13]<Shwele>when we upgraded drupal, all got removed causing issues for instances that were using those modules
[19:30:50]<Shwele>is there a way to move them from drupal_root/modules to drupal_root/sites/all/modules/ and run rebuild to get new paths? is that this registry rebuilt can do?
[19:30:58]<helmo42[m]>Shwele: glad you found it... moving them to sites/example.com/modules should be the lessen for these collegues
[19:31:26]<helmo42[m]>yes that is exactly why you want `drush rr`

[01:10:13]<shaneonabike>hey folks... just wondering if anyone has had the experience of importing a drupal site and then //not being able// to migrate that site to another platform?
[01:10:46]<shaneonabike>The new platforms just don't appear as an option and I'm curious as to why... I checked to see if the import had a special install profile but it's the default
[01:15:20]<colan[m]>shaneonabike: i believe that issue is fixed in yesterday's release.
[01:15:40]<shaneonabike>mmmm it's with the latest actually :/

[01:20:18]<shaneonabike>It's super strange... is there a patch that I could check out with regards to that @colan
[01:20:23]<shaneonabike>maybe I can debug it ?
[01:21:14]<colan[m]>shaneonabike: https://www.drupal.org/project/hosting/issues/3001670

[03:03:38]<shaneonabike>hmmm.... the code is there... but even after doing a drush cc drush it still isn't letting me migrate
[03:03:54]<shaneonabike>It's a Drupal to Pressflow so I think that should be just fine
[03:03:59]<shaneonabike>Could there be something I am missing
[03:17:42]<viashimo>shaneonabike: is the platform you want to migrate the only unlocked platform?
[03:28:46]<shaneonabike>it's one site to another platform viashimo
[03:37:11]<viashimo>shaneonabike: yeh, I do mean to ask if the destination platform is the only unlocked one though
[03:37:31]<viashimo>shaneonabike: i have seen it happen where migrations dont like the platforms if there's only one unlocked platform even if it is a valid destination
[03:37:31]<shaneonabike>they are all unlocked
[03:37:46]<viashimo>k
[03:38:03]<viashimo>is there any error, or just no option to migrate?
[03:38:07]<shaneonabike>it was an import from outside not originally created on drupal
[03:38:10]<shaneonabike>no option to upgrade
[03:38:14]<shaneonabike>no other platforms
[03:38:19]<shaneonabike>which is ubber bizzarree
[03:38:24]<shaneonabike>it's like it thinks it's not compatible
[03:38:35]<viashimo>I feel like i've seen this before
[03:38:40]<anarcat>hey shaneonabike how are ya :)
[03:38:57]<shaneonabike>anarcat: awesome man and you?
[03:39:44]<anarcat>shaneonabike: i am well!
[03:39:50]<anarcat>shaneonabike: well away from php! ;)
[03:39:57]<shaneonabike>anarcat: bien non?
[03:40:11]<shaneonabike>anarcat: qu'est-ce que tu fais maitenant.. encore aux Gaspesie?
[03:40:44]* anarcat pm
[03:41:05]<viashimo>shaneonabike: my next steps would be to: verify the install_profile variable in the site, check the hosting_package and hosting_package_instance tables for the site's packages to make sure it all looks the same. following that I would probably start digging into the code
[03:41:24]<shaneonabike>ahhh brillaint i never thought about the db
[03:41:31]<shaneonabike>viashimo: will do thanks heaps
[03:41:37]<viashimo>shaneonabike: np, good luck!
