[20:56:28]<Shwele>having issues with HTTPS aegir self signed, anyone online to help? :)
[20:57:22]<Shwele>I used manually aegir SSL and for new clients Im trying HTTPS as advice I got from bgm
[20:58:32]<Shwele>ive put DNS record for domain in DNS its accessable. Created .wellknown/acme-challenge folder in drupal root
[20:58:45]<Shwele>and created empty file test
[21:01:24]<helmo42[m]>Shwele: Then I assume you want a LetsEncrypt certificate ... not selfsigned.
[21:02:13]<Shwele>correct, if I got it right the one aegir generates are the same I could get from certbot, just different signing service
[21:02:57]<helmo42[m]>there is no need to create that well-know dir ... if the module is working then you should have /var/aegir/config/letsencrypt.d/well-known/acme-challenge
[21:03:01]<Shwele>so wanted to test that if it works for automatisation
[21:03:44]<helmo42[m]>The signing cervice is also the same as certbot ... we just use a different tool to generate and request them.
[21:04:20]<Shwele>hm, maybe I didn't enable correct modules for it, as that folder doesn't exist
[21:04:43]<helmo42[m]>adding a test file in /var/aegir/config/letsencrypt.d/well-known/acme-challenge should be access under example.com/.well-known/acme-challenge/testfile
[21:05:21]<Shwele>yea I get it, its just that on this aegir instance it doesn't exist. Maybe I missed enabling some module...
[21:06:02]<helmo42[m]>Did you follow the steps in http://cgit.drupalcode.org/hosting_https/plain/README.md ?
[21:06:55]<Shwele>Hm, I think I RTFMed this one, will check now
[21:14:41]<Shwele>just read it, did all of that. For some reason those folders are missing, weird
[21:19:58]<Shwele>Unable to load LetsEncrypt driver for the Certificate service: [error]
[21:19:59]<Shwele>Expecting class Provision_Service_Certificate_LetsEncrypt
[21:19:59]<Shwele>Unable to load https_apache driver for the http service: Expecting [error]
[21:19:59]<Shwele>class Provision_Service_http_https_apache
[21:20:05]<Shwele>this is what Im getting
[21:22:54]<helmo42[m]>make sure the veryfy task on the server node and the hostmaster site completed ok ... that might be a cause of this
[21:30:20]<Shwele>devils luck, tasks are stuck
[21:42:53]<Shwele>Unable to load https_apache driver for the http service: Expecting class Provision_Service_http_https_apache This seems to be the cause, but cant find what is causing it
[22:02:35]<Shwele>mkdir(): Invalid path FileSystem.php:87 warning
[22:02:35]<Shwele> Platforms path could not be created. error - fixed all but this appeared :/
[22:11:42]<jonpugh>Shwele: that means your user drushrc.php file doesn't have the includes...
[22:12:00]<jonpugh>Check /var/aegir/.drush/drushrc.php
[22:12:33]<jonpugh>It is a special file written on hostmaster site verify, it adds to drush includes, which is what points to the https_apache classes
[22:20:35]<Shwele>jonpugh: you mean for this recent error for platforms path? Other errors are resolved but latest one...
[22:39:51]<jonpugh>The "expecting class" error
[22:40:14]<Shwele>jonpugh: yea fixed that, found out the cause.
[22:41:01]<Shwele>now platform path is causing error for all checks, be it site or platforms. Google didn't help and what little I knew.
[23:26:50]<Shwele>rebuilt aegir again due that it was clean install so I dont trouble you or myself with something I clicked.

[05:55:24]<bgm>remote-import question: say I have 20 sites on a server and I want to migrate them to another server. Can I script that with remote-import?
[05:57:47]<bgm>ah, nevermind, I was just using the wrong params to 'drush @server_foo provision-remote_import.. (it uses drush aliases, not nids) :)
[06:30:31]<colan[m]>bgm: i never thought of using the cli for that; sounds like it should work. i was just waiting for https://www.drupal.org/project/hosting_remote_import/issues/1950452

[06:31:44]<bgm>colan[m]: yep, stumbled on that too, I'll comment there when I can confirm that it works (I got stuck on the innodb triggers, because the server was incorrectly configured)

[07:32:48]<viashimo>depends on the terminal that folks use
[07:33:22]<viashimo>but yeah, it can be seen :)
