[06:48:11]<jonpugh>thanks helmo42[m]
[06:48:18]<jonpugh>So I guess we didn't scrum :D
[06:49:02]<jonpugh>Yesterday Herman talked me through doing my first Aegir release by hand, 3.17.2 and it was good to track the documentation and fix any missing information.
[06:52:25]<helmo42[m]>hi all
[06:53:31]<helmo42[m]>jonpugh: Do you have a screen log of the release? I'm not sure what went wrong with your reprepro commands as per my comment earlier today
[06:54:16]<jonpugh>it would be in the bash history?
[06:54:21]<jonpugh>no i don't have anything
[06:57:11]<helmo42[m]>The bash_history has no timestamps but looking at the mtime it would look like you executed the correct commands
[06:57:28]<helmo42[m]>we'll check next release
[07:09:51]<jonpugh>I copied and pasted from the docs
[07:10:06]<jonpugh>@helmo42[m] I want to start maintaining devshop repos too
[07:10:53]<jonpugh>So that would be a good time to work on some improvements.
[07:13:48]<helmo42[m]>Adding devshop packages to this repo would be an option... maintaining a remo is not mush work but can be tricky
[07:14:14]<helmo42[m]>We also looked at https://build.opensuse.org/ a few years ago but I could not get it workign back then
[07:18:04]<jonpugh>oh wow, @helmo42[m] check this out: https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/package-management-default...
[07:22:03]<helmo42[m]>Hmm, hope not
[07:23:07]<helmo42[m]>How many diffeerent (unsupported) versions of libc will I haven then?
[07:37:56]<colan[m]>snaps are getting popular, yes.
[07:38:26]<colan[m]>no longer need to worry about debian, red hat, etc. separately.
[08:31:07]* calbasi has quit (Ping timeout: 244 seconds)
[08:33:52]<jonpugh>helmo42[m]: colan[m] I'm exploring for devshop, I'll let you know
[08:45:28]<colan[m]>cool. might solve the "Is there an RPM?" problem.
