[21:51:36]<Shwele>what should I enable on order for some client to see platform? So far I only managed with Bypass content access control, even though other options were turned on.
[21:52:28]<Shwele>I want to create environment for my colleague so he cant break anything, but create something new, clone website or similar while Im not arround

[22:33:12]<Shwele>here I would like so he has all listed platforms and websites, but for some reason those are not seen whatever the option is under aegir administrator permission for user unless its bypassed (didn't test all, but been trying one by one that made sense to turn on)
[22:49:41]<Shwele>ok seems like bypass needs to be turned on in order to see those elements now Im tweaking other stuff for access
[23:45:21]<bgm[m]>That page is a view. You can check its permissions?
[23:46:14]<Shwele>yea checked it, I've set it up as I wanted to be seen
[23:46:42]<Shwele>but seems like I need to set all in view and allow bypass in order for aegir to show that view list
[23:49:25]<Shwele>its like the views do show you what you want to give from the menu and options: verify/backup/lock etc
[23:49:48]<Shwele>but if you want to have menu that you have those views implemented bellow as on screenshoted link, bypass should be enabled
[23:50:05]<Shwele>took me a while to realize, at least on my end its how I managed to make it was I had on mind
[23:50:35]<Shwele>that element seems locked for all users other than global administrators

[01:09:42]<Guest41678>Hey! I am trying to play around with ægir and can not seem to find out if you can set up drupal 8 sites with it. Our current set up is drupal 8 running in a docker container. Would something like that be applicable for ægir?
[01:10:11]* Guest41678 is now known as Giannis666
[01:13:58]<bgm[m]>Hi Guest41678 , Aegir supports Drupal 8, but not docker.
[01:14:46]<bgm[m]>you can deploy a platform (codebase) by pointing Aegir to the composer file or git repo (or just deploy it beforehand), and it will create a database for the site, install Drupal, etc.

[01:29:07]<colan[m]>Guest41678: For more info on that, and other options, see the docs, specifically https://docs.aegirproject.org/usage/advanced/deployment/
[01:30:24]<colan[m]>You don't actually need Docker at all if you want to host your sites on Aegir.
