[16:59:54]<GiannisAntetokou>Hello! I have a couple of questions related to ægir :) When I define a platform and let's say create 10 drupal-8 sites, how do I update the core when a new drupal-8 version is released? Can it happen simultaneously?
[17:00:25]<GiannisAntetokou>Do I have to run 10 updates or a single one?
[17:02:51]<helmo42[m]1>updating the files from core is 1 task... all sites on a platform share those files. When there are dbupdates then those have to be run on each site afterwards
[17:04:09]<helmo42[m]1>Or if you use immutable platforms then you create a new platform for the updated codebase andmigrate the sites over one by one or as a batch
[17:06:09]<GiannisAntetokou>Great, and how big of a task would you consider to migrate sites into ægir. I have 2 webshops at the moment, with the same code base, and we're considering moving to ægir to be able to deploy more and more webshops. Is there a tool for db migration?
[17:06:58]<GiannisAntetokou>I know they're maybe not the brightest questions, I just need to have an idea what's possible, from people who have more experience with it. If possible. Thanks :)
[17:08:06]<helmo42[m]1>We have a number os scenatio's on https://docs.aegirproject.org/usage/sites/importing/ that might be helpful
[17:08:46]<GiannisAntetokou>Thanks!
